By accessing our website, booking services, or utilizing any of our detailing services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

Service Description

KB Detailing provides professional automotive detailing services, including but not limited to:

  • Interior cleaning and restoration
  • Exterior detailing and protection
  • Paint correction and polishing
  • Ceramic coating application
  • Mobile detailing services

Service availability, pricing, and duration may vary based on vehicle type, condition, and location. All services are subject to availability and our professional assessment.

Booking and Payment

Appointments

  • All services require an appointment scheduled in advance
  • We recommend booking 3-7 days in advance, especially during peak seasons
  • Appointments are confirmed upon receipt of booking confirmation
  • We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather or operational needs

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged
  • We accept cash, major credit cards, and secure online payments
  • All prices are in USD and subject to applicable taxes
  • Quoted prices are estimates; final pricing may vary based on vehicle condition
  • Additional services discovered during detailing will be quoted before proceeding

Deposits

Certain premium services (ceramic coating, multi-day projects) may require a deposit to secure your appointment. Deposit amounts will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations by Customer

  • 24+ hours notice: Full refund or reschedule at no charge
  • Less than 24 hours: 50% cancellation fee may apply
  • No-show: Full service charge or forfeiture of deposit

Cancellations by KB Detailing

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to severe weather, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will provide full refund or reschedule at your convenience with no penalties.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with our service, notify us within 48 hours and we will make it right or provide a refund for the unsatisfactory portion.

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure the best service experience, customers are responsible for:

  • Removing all personal items and valuables from the vehicle before service
  • Disclosing any pre-existing damage, mechanical issues, or special concerns
  • Ensuring the vehicle is accessible at the scheduled time (for mobile services)
  • Providing accurate contact information for appointment confirmation
  • Notifying us of any allergies or sensitivities to cleaning products
  • Securing proper authorization if the vehicle is not owned by the customer

Liability and Disclaimers

Service Limitations

While we strive for excellence, some stains, odors, scratches, or damage may be permanent and beyond repair. We will communicate limitations before proceeding with service. Results may vary based on vehicle age, condition, and material type.

Pre-Existing Damage

We conduct a pre-service inspection to document existing damage. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, paint defects, worn materials, or issues not caused by our service. This includes but is not limited to: cracked leather, faded paint, loose trim, or mechanical issues.

Personal Property

KB Detailing is not responsible for any personal items left in vehicles. We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property. Please remove all valuables before service.

Insurance Coverage

We maintain comprehensive general liability insurance. In the unlikely event of damage caused by our service, our liability is limited to the cost of the service or repair of the specific damage, whichever is less.

Warranty and Guarantees

Service Warranty

We guarantee our workmanship for 7 days following service completion. If you experience any issues related to our service within this period, contact us immediately for correction at no additional charge.

Ceramic Coating Warranty

Ceramic coating services include manufacturer warranties ranging from 1-5 years depending on the product selected. Warranty terms, conditions, and maintenance requirements will be provided separately.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property ofKB Detailing and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our explicit written permission.

Photography and Marketing

We may photograph vehicles before and after service for quality documentation, training, and marketing purposes. By using our services, you grant permission for us to use these photos on our website, social media, and promotional materials. If you prefer not to have your vehicle photographed, please notify us before service.

Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any disputes amicably and efficiently:

  • Contact us directly to discuss any concerns or complaints
  • We will make every effort to resolve issues within 5 business days
  • If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to mediation
  • Any legal action must be brought in the jurisdiction of Muncie, Indiana

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

Severability
